The terms behind every list
No one pays to be considered for or included in an ADVSR ranking. Financial ADVSR does not charge nominees, honorees or their firms, and inclusion is not tied to advertising.
Data lists are computed from the Financial ADVSR Moves tracker and from SEC Form ADV filings (see our data). The ADVSR lists name only advisors who were nominated, whose CRD records our editors checked on FINRA BrokerCheck and the SEC’s adviser search, and who agreed to be considered, ranked by the published ADVSR Open Score. Rankings describe what each list measures, nothing more: they are not recommendations and don’t say which advisor or firm suits anyone.
