Accelerated Wealth Partners has agreed to take a minority stake in Pallas Capital Advisors, a wealth manager headquartered in Braintree, Massachusetts, south of Boston. Citywire RIA reported the arrangement, and its summary says Pallas Capital confirmed the deal. The material available for this article does not give the size of the stake, the price or the percentage being acquired.

Citywire RIA's headline describes Pallas as a $5bn Massachusetts RIA. The source material does not say what that figure measures. A September 2025 Pallas release described the firm as having over $3 billion in assets under management, so the two figures conflict and this article cannot reconcile them.

Pallas, according to its own press releases, says it launched in July 2019. A 2021 release said the firm had reached markets in Park Ridge, New Jersey and Newport, Rhode Island, and planned a fifth office in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Richard Mullen is listed as chief executive and founding partner. Gaurav Mallik was appointed chief investment officer in July 2024 to oversee all of the firm's investment strategies. In a release dated 10 September 2026, Pallas announced Emily Richard, CFA, as vice president of wealth management.

Accelerated Wealth Partners, or AWP, is based in New York and acquires equity stakes in registered investment advisers. WealthManagement.com reported that Eric Amar, the founder and chief executive, formerly held the chief growth officer role at Focus Financial Partners, where he supervised more than 60 wealth and advisory deals. WealthManagement.com also reported that J.C. Flowers & Co. committed up to $200 million to AWP and holds a board seat.

Markets Group has reported that AWP's stated focus is RIAs with up to about $5 billion in assets under management and either a strong regional presence or a niche. Financial Advisor reported that Amar said deal sizes will vary, some possibly in the multibillion-dollar range, and that AWP will combine majority and minority stakes. InvestmentNews reported that Amar has described AWP's plan as targeting a small group of portfolio firms instead of a large number.

The Pallas arrangement follows two earlier AWP deals in the research material. The first, announced in March 2026, acquired a non-controlling interest in Houston's RIA Advisors, which has $1.6 billion in client assets. The second, in May 2026, saw AWP take a non-controlling position in Brooklyn FI, a New York RIA whose focus is tech professionals and which has about 500 client households. The sources do not establish whether the $5bn figure in the Pallas headline relates to AWP's stated focus on RIAs with up to about $5 billion in AUM. The source material does not say what the investment will fund or whether further steps are planned.
