AdvisorHub reported on October 23, 2026 that Rockefeller Global Family Office has hired two teams: a Houston group from J.P. Morgan Wealth Management and a Columbus, Ohio, group from UBS. AdvisorHub put the annual revenue of the Houston group, Sage Wealth Partners, at $4.8 million, and named Christopher D. Sheets and Forrest R. Green as its heads. That figure measures revenue, not client assets.
AdvisorHub, citing a source familiar with the moves, said the Houston team oversaw $700 million in client assets and the Ohio team oversaw $350 million. The Ohio group, Shea Wealth Partners, is led by Andrea M. Shea and her son Martin E. Shea. AdvisorHub said it produced $2.5 million in annual revenue, had four members and worked from UBS offices in Upper Arlington and Pepper Pike. AdvisorHub also cited a second source saying that Scott Holstead, one of the Houston office's original members, remained at J.P. Morgan, while the remaining nine members of the group made the move, among them Sheets' son Cameron.
J.P. Morgan's website lists Sheets as a Managing Director and Wealth Partner in Houston, and Green as an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor who has worked as a financial advisor since 2004. AdvisorHub reported that Sheets and Green joined J.P. Morgan in 2018 and began their advisory careers at Bernstein Private Wealth Management in 2002 and 2004. Financial Planning reported in 2018 that Bernstein had managed about $900 million in client assets for the pair. On the Ohio side, AdvisorHub said Andrea Shea joined UBS in 2009 after four years at Smith Barney and that her son joined her there in 2022, citing registration records.
Rockefeller Capital Management, which its website says was established in 2018, traces its origins to 1882, when it was the family office of John D. Rockefeller. The firm says it operates from offices in 31 US markets and London. Greg Fleming is president and CEO, and Chris Dupuy is president of Rockefeller Global Family Office, according to the firm's website and Financial Planning. AdvisorHub said the firm is backed by Viking Global Investors and IGM Financial, and SmartAsset reports that it is primarily owned by funds affiliated with Viking Global.
AdvisorHub reported that Rockefeller opened a Columbus office in August with Jones Wealth Partners, a Merrill Lynch team, and that it also has offices in Cincinnati and Cleveland. In April, the firm hired a Merrill Lynch team in Houston that produced $14 million in annual revenue, according to AdvisorHub. An earlier Ohio hire, the Mooney Stanley Group from UBS in Pepper Pike in 2022, was reported at $3.3 million in revenue by AdvisorHub and at $527 million in assets by FA Magazine.
Asset figures for Rockefeller vary by source. AdvisorHub reported that Rockefeller Capital Management had $237 billion in client assets at the end of August, but Financial ADVSR could not find another source confirming that figure. Family Wealth Report cited $151 billion as of December 31, 2024, Pipeline Road cited about $90 billion on 2024 data described as assets under administration, and Getwarmer cited $82.1 billion in client assets. A Rockefeller Asset Management SEC filing reports about $19 billion in assets under supervision as of September 30, 2025, a figure covering that unit alone.
J.P. Morgan Wealth Management had 6,433 advisors at the end of September, up 7% from a year earlier, according to its earnings report as cited by AdvisorHub. AdvisorHub also reported that the week before, two sizable J.P. Morgan Advisors groups headed by Phil Scott and Jim Atwood departed to set up an RIA of their own, which AdvisorHub said holds $18.6 billion in client assets. Financial ADVSR found no Rockefeller press release, SEC filing or FINRA BrokerCheck record for the October moves, and the figures rest on AdvisorHub's anonymous sources, so they remain unverified.
