401k Specialist reported in a corporate roundup published Oct. 23, 2026, that Katie Sheliga has joined Prime Capital Financial, a firm based in Overland Park, Kansas. The roundup's summary points to the hiring announcement itself, which is dated Oct. 21, 2026. The roundup covered several unrelated items, and this article addresses only the Sheliga hire.

According to the announcement, Ekaterina Sheliga, who goes by Katie, joins Prime as a retirement plan consultant. Her new role covers relationships with employers, advisors and centers of influence. The announcement says the hire expands the firm's Mid-Atlantic retirement consulting presence. She is also Northeast regional leader for We Inspire Promote Network, known as WIPN, according to the same release.

According to the announcement, Sheliga brings more than 15 years of work across financial services and the retirement market. Her latest position, the announcement notes, was as strategic accounts sales director at PCS Retirement. Earlier positions included roles at the American Retirement Association and The Standard, and she began her career at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

Prime Capital Financial operates through Prime Capital Investment Advisors, LLC, according to the firm's Form ADV Part 2A brochure, which says the entity does business as Prime Capital Financial. According to that filing, the entity came into existence in Kansas during May 2017, and it has held registration as an investment adviser since June 23, 2017. Form ADV lists the firm as 100% owned by CHHSZ Holdings, LLC, and names Scott Colangelo as Chairman, Brian Dillbeck as CFO and COO, and Scott Duba as President.

The roundup also quotes Jania Stout, president of Retirement and Wellness at Prime Capital Financial. Other items in the same roundup concern different companies and are not covered here.

The announcement does not describe a start date for Sheliga's new role or any further hiring plans at the firm.
